Meet the Team

I was born and bred in Cambridge so I know the area well. I started working in the lettings industry 30 years ago whilst bringing up my 3 children. I am very passionate about property and feel very privileged being in this industry. Being a landlord myself I ensure that I provide the level of professional service for landlords and tenants that I would want to experience myself. I am very keen on keeping fit and make time to exercise most mornings. I do think this is necessary as it helps me keep up with my five lovely grandchildren. I also enjoy going on exotic holidays when we are not renovating our house.

Originally from Ashby-De-La-Zouch in Leicestershire, I learnt to play the double bass and enjoyed 3 years playing in the Leicestershire Schools Symphony Orchestra. I studied classical music in Cambridge until I was 21 obtaining a Diploma of Higher Education. Deciding I preferred music as a hobby rather than a career, I tried a number of work opportunities. In 1999 I joined a small, family run estate agent in Cambridge. Since then, I have gained a wealth of experience working for both national and local agents giving me an excellent knowledge of the local rental market. I am a qualified member of ARLA and maintain my knowledge through regularly attending training events and conferences. I have been happily married since 2000 and have three step-children and 4 grandchildren. I love to socialise and have a wide group of friends. I play darts and help with the running of a local darts league. My other hobbies include escape rooms and cooking.

I joined Lets Rent Cambridge in January 2017 as the Office Administrator. My background had always been in the medical world so this role was something completely new for me. With the help and training from Jo and Nicola I soon gained the knowledge and experience and found myself enjoying a different career. I enjoy meeting new tenants and guiding them through moving into their new home. Outside work, I like to spend time in my garden, reading and walking in the countryside with my husband. I have 6 grandchildren who keep me busy which I love.
